To report a bug:
Locate the log file
Before reporting, ensure Tabletop Creator is closed.
If you opened a project, find the log file here: <PROJECT_FOLDER_PATH>/temp/logs/
If you couldn’t open a project, find the log file here:
- Windows: C:/Users/<USER>/AppData/LocalLow/TabletopTech/TabletopCreator/Player.log
- MacOS: ~/Library/Logs/TabletopTech/TabletopCreator/Player.log (See MacOS note below for accessing hidden folders.)
Share the log file
Submit the log file with a detailed explanation of the issue and steps to reproduce it via our Discord in the #support channel.
Reproducing the bug on our end helps us fix it faster. Share as much detail as you can!

Additional notes
- Complete Project Folder:
Sometimes we may need the entire project folder to troubleshoot. If you can’t share all assets, sending thedata
folder within your project is often sufficient.
Alternatively, create a minimal project (a new project with minimal content) where the issue is reproducible, and share that instead.

If we request your project, please share it via a private message in Discord. This ensures your data remains secure and is only accessible to our support team.
- Windows Crashes:
If the app crashed during startup and no log file was created, check this path for crash reports: C:/Users/<USER>/AppData/Local/Temp/TabletopTech/TabletopCreator/Crashes
- MacOS Hidden Folders:
If you can’t locate the~/Library/
folder, enable hidden files in Finder:- Press
